Hey!
On the 4th of November AEST, Will be when I start forcefully unclaiming any chunks that aren't claimed properly. Just to reiterate any claim of yours that is not connected to the main town, must be claimed as an outpost with the outpost claim (Yes the one that makes it so you can TP there). The Minecraft moderation team will not be responsible for rolling back any unclaimed griefed builds.
I know that some people have struggled locating their claims, and even unclaiming them due to the plugin already being implemented so here's some tips:
To view all your towns claims:
1. Go to https://maps.smpearth.com/#t3_world:-9566:0:-5020:11391:0:0:0:1:flat
2. Click the top left icon called "Menu" (Has 3 horizontal lines)
3. Click markers
4. Click the arrow beside towns and search your town name in the search bar.
5. This will show you all your claims on the left hand side, if you click each claim, the map will shift over to where that claim is located.
To unclaim those chunks:
1. If you have an outpost claim, claim beside the chunks and unclaim all the other regular chunks before lastly unclaiming that outpost chunk
OR
1. Reply to the announcement here
2. Provide us with your username, town name and the coordinates of those chunks you wish for us to unclaim and we will.
Once again repeating, if you are struggling to claim your builds or areas please ask us for advice/assistance as I'm willing to work with you in whatever way I can. This does need to be done prior to the date mentioned, after this what is done is final and you will need to work this out yourself.
Rule Change
Something that was brought up is people claiming their railways/ice paths and those stations. You have never needed to claim those paths as they are protected by our rules and will be rolled back if reported. I have changed the rules (T3: Major wilderness griefing/griefing in claims/travel griefing) to also protect the stations directly connected to those lines. There is guidelines for that you will need to read, but those would also be protected alike the transport lines themselves and do not need to be claimed. You can read the rule change here https://smpearth.com/threads/casual-towny-rules.37/
If it's still Halloween for your timezone, Happy Halloween 🎃 if not, welcome to November!
